Isaac Jr-Life Update

For the last year weve been living in alaska we came in late September. I entered public school and had to adjust to the new enviroment. I quickly made some new friends, and was doing well school wise. then it started to snow, unlike most of the kids up here since I haven't been as exposed to it I love it; I got to have actual snowball fights. Then I got to join cross country skiing and then in the spring track and field. I only did 2 ski races and I did the 100, 800, and discus for track. I also was apart of NJHS and got to help run stuff and meet more people. And then the school year came to an end a little bit after. Summer was kinda boring we did somethings but it was mostly just sitting, sleeping, eating, and playing video games with my friends. But i also had family come up and visit, my grandpa and aunt, and my cousins and other aunt. I also caught my first salmon in the Kenai, it was fun to catch but I refused to touch it. Then my freshman year started I got to see all my freinds again and had a bunch of new classes. I started learning German as one of them. then I got to go to homecoming with my freinds and that was fun. and now im just trying to get my work done while also enjoying my time.

It's getting hot in here (Lake Havasu City)

It's been awhile. We made it to Lake Havasu City, Arizona back in April and here is mid July and we are moving on. It seemd like a short time here, but then again when you do a 6 month contract, 13 weeks does seem super short. Here are my thoughts on Lake Havasu City.  Lake Havasu City is interesting. A man built City and island to attract tourists. A bridge bought from England for the purpose of being rebuilt to attract tourist and it worked. It's the second highest ranked tourist attraction in the state of Arizona. Each brick was numbered and outlined and crated to be rebuilt exactly true to its original form. The picture below is the outline of all the numbered bricks. It's beautiful here. It has amazing sunrises and sunsets. It's the true definition of a painted desert. Let's take a road trip to Alaska....1 month this week!

Most people hope to be able to travel and see the world once they retire. If there is anything life has taught me is: mine as well do it now, for we are never promised tomorrow. And by doing it now, I get to have the adventures with my husband and boys by my side. On our time. I'm not having to wait till they are grown and settled in their own lives to make plans and hope everyone can make it. We are all here now. Has it been easy? Not always. Just like life in bricks, RV life has its challenges. Things need to be fixed. And unless we fix it ourselves, we have to move out of our home until it is fixed. We are navigating life in a 43 ft amount of space. Travel days are long and make me nervous and ready to be there already. But, we get to see the United States and all it has to offer. Eli Blog- Maple Tree Farm

  Yesterday I went to the maple syrup farm. It had a sugar shack with  a  lot of maple syrup. And it had a lot snow on his farm. I learned how maple syrup was made. I learned all the types of maple syrup. And I learned the type of maple syrup depends on the season. I thought the maple syrup we tasted was pretty good I liked the fist one the most. The guys dogs was very nice and playful. I thought how he made the maple syrup was cool.
