Isaac blog -underground railroad

Yesterday we went to Brookline Massachusetts to go on a history hike. we went with Laloo and are tour guide Ms. Barbara, she took us to multiple different spots. we learned a ton about Brookline Massachusetts.

I learned all about the Under Ground Rail Road. We learned about multiple different escaped slaves, like Ellen Clark who escaped form her master down in Georgia and disguised as a man. We also learned that enslavers would sell a man for thirty dollars which was worth two cows.

We walked around Brookline Mass, We walked through the grave yard and up to a underground rail road house that was still standing. We also went to the town hall. And it was super fun walking around Brookline seeing everything that was there.

I really liked the hike it was nice to learn all about the history that Brookline Massachusetts had to offer
