Isaac- Ski Trip

The day I went skiing. 


I went skiing with Mrs. Jennifer and Dave. They are from center point church they are really nice. They drove and picked me up in there ford truck. They took me three different days Thursday, Tuesday, and Thursday again.
    We went to Ragged Mountain the drive there was really pretty. We passed many beautiful mountains. We also drove down a long dirt road that Dave likes to call a ""shortcut"" which would lead us right over to the parking lot. Then we would go in to the lodge and get my rentals and the three of us would get are stuff on are long socks, extra jackets, and are ski boots, also are helmets and goggles, then we would go outside and get are skis attached to are boots and grab are poles and then they would drop me off at the class and they would go skiing.
    The first day I learned how to stop the beginner way and then we started working on are parallel, the second day we learned how to stop in different way, and then the third day I just practiced it all. after each class we would go in and eat and then go out and ski, the first two days we would only ski the beginner courses. But on the third day the lady gave me a half day pass for free. we went up and did almost all the courses except the black diamond ones which are the hardest. 
    I absolutely love skiing it is so incredibly fun. I had so much fun with them. I will never forget it they are so awesome.

It's getting hot in here (Lake Havasu City)

It's been awhile. We made it to Lake Havasu City, Arizona back in April and here is mid July and we are moving on. It seemd like a short time here, but then again when you do a 6 month contract, 13 weeks does seem super short. Here are my thoughts on Lake Havasu City.  Lake Havasu City is interesting. A man built City and island to attract tourists. A bridge bought from England for the purpose of being rebuilt to attract tourist and it worked. It's the second highest ranked tourist attraction in the state of Arizona. Each brick was numbered and outlined and crated to be rebuilt exactly true to its original form. The picture below is the outline of all the numbered bricks. It's beautiful here. It has amazing sunrises and sunsets. It's the true definition of a painted desert. Let's take a road trip to Alaska....1 month this week!

Most people hope to be able to travel and see the world once they retire. If there is anything life has taught me is: mine as well do it now, for we are never promised tomorrow. And by doing it now, I get to have the adventures with my husband and boys by my side. On our time. I'm not having to wait till they are grown and settled in their own lives to make plans and hope everyone can make it. We are all here now. Has it been easy? Not always. Just like life in bricks, RV life has its challenges. Things need to be fixed. And unless we fix it ourselves, we have to move out of our home until it is fixed. We are navigating life in a 43 ft amount of space. Travel days are long and make me nervous and ready to be there already. But, we get to see the United States and all it has to offer. Eli Blog- Maple Tree Farm

  Yesterday I went to the maple syrup farm. It had a sugar shack with  a  lot of maple syrup. And it had a lot snow on his farm. I learned how maple syrup was made. I learned all the types of maple syrup. And I learned the type of maple syrup depends on the season. I thought the maple syrup we tasted was pretty good I liked the fist one the most. The guys dogs was very nice and playful. I thought how he made the maple syrup was cool.
