Adjusting

It's crazy to say we've been here a week. Honestly kinda feels like a mixture of knowing this is home and vacation. I know how to get to the store, the vet clinic, and that's about it. The closest At&T store is 35 minutes away. The worker there was very kind and actually travels to Lawrenceville,GA every other summer. So that was kinda cool, and Isaac met a co-worker whose parents are from Loganville. Little pieces of home everywhere we go. The closest Chick-fil-a is 45 minutes away which is a boo for Emory who understands the need.

We are adjusting. All of us. The dogs included. Stress level-7. Getting into new routines has been easier for some than others.

Isaac likes the hospital. Says it's crazy busy and big. He has to take a shuttle to the parking garage and has an APP to show him around. The boys and I have spent our days running errands and our evenings at the pool or basketball court.

This weekend the campground is maxed out. This place is massive. We are in lot 700 and I believe it goes to 900, and I don't think I've seen an empty space since Thursday. But they have a TON of 4th of July fun going on. Today they had kayak races which the boys and Big isaac participated in. Eli did not enjoy it, but later went out with me and felt more confident. They also had a yummy BBQ dinner and corn hole which everyone loved. We all ate BBQ and little isaac ate a ham sandwich from home. LOL. Someday we wonder whose kid he is.😉

We are excited about being up here for the 4th. I think we are gonna venture into Boston. The 4th isn't really a holiday that I get super excited about but there is something about being in Massachusetts on the 4th.

Hopefully the next time I write our stress level will be down and we will be more adjusted.
