Final night Thoughts!

We finally made it through that loooonnnngggg state of Okalahoma today. It literally took our whole day. We landed at a cute RV Park in Arkansas for the evening.

I was so excited to do this trip. To find it, be able to do it knowing it was a once in lifetime, now or never trip. I was nervous about camping this many days, living out of an RV and coolers,  but it was so fun! I learned no matter the living situation I will find a way to be content. I kinda already knew that. I'm not a need the best of situations to be happy type of person, and when you are doing dishes at a campsite: it kinda confirms that.

I learned which of my boys are good travels and who not so much. I mean I get it 8-9 hours in a car is no fun for sure. I tried to make the best of it with snacks, books, movies, mad libs, coloring, games...movies won out. They are so much a like and yet all so different: but equally stubborn and loud. Always.
And it confirmed my love of road trips.

I love them. Always have. Some of my favorite trips have just been of being on the road. With 3 boys, who are loud, and crazy, and for some reason rarely sleep, I still found a way to enjoy it. Sneaking cookies with the hubby, sneaking melatonin in for the kids,
reading; although this book is not very interesting I'm determined to make it; blogging. I wanted a way to remember this trip. I'm not a person who journals ,so I'm impressed that I did it and I managed to get everyone to do it some along the way.

A few people mentioned making a book, I hope to do that when we get home.

I learned once again that my hubby is a rockstar. The only one driving takes a lot. Not being around the kids as much as he was around the kids this trip is a lot. We needed a few reminders of love and Grace, but I often need that same reminder.

The canyon is beautiful and lives up to the name : Grand. I learned so much on this trip about the Canyon, the people who live there and once lived there. It is beautiful and majestic. If you get the chance: go.

Thanks for following along with us on our journey. It was fun. I'd continue to blog when I get home, but unfortunately it'd be kinda boring hearing how I almost pulled my hair out from the kids every day. Life is always more fun on the road. Until next time.
